Just wanted to shout out Candy after a late shift of work and was slammed throughout the day. It was 8 o’clock at night before I realized I hadn’t had anything to eat all day. I wanted something quick through a drive-through. I pulled up to look over the menu and was greeted right away by Candy on the mic.. Told her I’ve never been to a Bono’s and she was so friendly and personable. She made some great menu suggestions all of which I took her up on. And she was right the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce …on point… The baked beans were fire, and the sweet potato so delicious. I got the pulled pork sandwich and was impressed with the generous portion of pulled pork. In short, Bono’s did not disappoint but Candy really stood out! She is awesome and you guys have a gem on your team and most definitely the best person to have serving your customers!!

This location was clean and the waitress was friendly. I work close by and ordered a turkey salad for pickup . I was very disappointed. I get back to work to eat and the turkey is cold I could tell the meat wasn’t fresh. The croutons were stale and the tomato wasn’t fresh either . I typically don’t go to this location but I gave them a chance despite other reviews and I will not be back. Update: Upon reading the managers response I came back 7/19 on my lunch break and got the salad remade which is shown here in the picture. The manager on duty that day was very friendly and accommodating. I was very pleased with my salad and the service. Thank you for the excellent customer service I will be back.

I NEVER write reviews about restaurants no matter how good or bad the experience is. So let that sink in. My server was extremely polite and hardworking. She kept a good eye on our table, and despite being only one of two servers on the floor during lunch rush she did a great job and brought our food out in a timely manner. If the manager/owner of this location is reading this please give Brittany a raise! The food is equally as amazing as the service. I tried the St. Louis style ribs and sausage and they were both some of the best barbecue I’ve had in my entire life. The ribs were moist and tender and paired well with the sweet and tangy sauce! But my favorite part would HAVE to be the baked beans. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jacksonville or anybody on a quest to find the world’s best barbecue. Bono’s Yall were amazing and I will absolutely be coming back again soon!

We were down for Boston and was looking for a place to get some southern food. We had a local with us who suggested Bono’s Pit BBQ. I am soooo glad she suggested here! Stacy was a fantastic waitress, cracking jokes and making suggestions. The pulled pork with the Sweet and Tangy sauce was great, the Mac and cheese was A+ and the beans put the Boston beans I’m use to to shame. But truly nothing compared to the Banana Pudding Pie, it is a MUST! It was amazing meal!

Very good BBQ, especially for a chain. Good prices, awesome staff, and you can actually see the pit master doing his thing. It’s a great place to come and sit although we did see quite a bit of drive-thrus. I’d definitely come back any time I’m in Jacksonville. Shame they’re only in this area. You’d kill it in Miami.

The food was great. My brisket is always tender and the sausage has a great taste. The greens were seasoned just right. I had the best waitress who were amazing. I been to a few different Bono's locations and I always come back lol. I go about about once a month. Lots of delicious sauces if you need them.

Johnny was our amazing pit master. He made the whole experience wonderful. I was so impressed with every part of the meal, but the ribs and brisket were absolutely the best bbq I’ve ever had. So juicy and flavorful I didn’t even need any sauce. Will definitely be back!
